Female adoptee searching for nmother and nfather. I was born in Moncton, NB on April 2,1952 to Bernice Constance Steele. She was a high school student at the time and I think was about 16 years of age. I do not have any information about my father, but do believe he too was at school. I was later adopted to Belfour Reade and Ferne Mackenzie (mother maiden name) in Amherst NS through the CAS with the assistance of WW Meldrum and named Mary Lou. I have no living family to help me and was told many years ago that my nmother was no longer living. I hope someone will recognize her name and is either a family member or perhaps a school friend. If you have any information on the whereabouts of my nmother or nfather, please contact me as I would like to know if they are living or passed away.
