I am an adoptee who has been searching for 28 years. I was born August 4, 1962 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, my birth name was Dawn Rachel Myers. It turns out my adoption file has been fictitiously altered, a very long story, and the government has had a hand in it ... the names on my file written down as my natural parents are also false. I am looking for my 2 brothers who were adopted from Calgary, Alberta. Their birth names are Paul Andrew born February 1963 and Timothy Edward born October 1965. Timothy may have been taken to Vancouver and adopted by a Boyd family. Our Mothers name is Jill Adele Mortimore. I am a grandmother searching for my grandson, born in early (May?) 1973. His mother was named Marie Petrie (accent on the second syllable) and she was Metis or First Nations and was from the Edmonton area. The baby's father, my son Thomas Limer, passed away recently. He had diabetes and this medical information should be passed on to his child who might have it also as some of his siblings also had it. Marie had intended to surrender the baby for adoption but we are not certain if she did or not as the last time we saw her she was only a few months pregnant. Natural mother searching for son, born Grace Hospital (Calgary), August 17, 1976. At birth : Barry 8 lbs, 1 oz. Lots of dark brown hair. Doctor that assisted was A. Maloney in Calgary, Barry was taken by aparents on October 29, 1976. At that time Barry weighed 19 lbs, 26 and one half inches tall, white, medium complexion, huge brown eyes. March 23, 1977 adoption was finalized. Taken for adoption on October 29, 1976 Edmonton Centennial Mall Office. Hello, I am a sister looking for my brother given up for adoption in 1978. My brother was born in Jasper Alberta on July 23, 1978. My mothers maiden name was Agnes Neis. I am a brother in need of finding my sister. Our Mother had named her Flower Ladouceur before leaving the Hospital. Flower was born @ the Charles Campsell Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in the year 1978 or 1979 -- birth month unknown to myself. Searching for Breanna Jane Matheson.  Born July 23, 1995 in Calgary, Alberta. Last seen, even after promises that we would always have contact. They also made that promise to Breanna...how wrong.  That's what social services said to aid in the smooth adoption process we never wanted.  After our visits they would claim she was upset from that. When her true upset was having to leave her family. She would literally throw up. It was horrible. Searching for my natural father. His name was Ken Watson and he worked at McGavin's Bakery in Calgary 47 years ago. He may have been married at the time. I am looking for my brothers and sisters. We were all born in Edmonton to my knowladge. I have three brothers, Vincent, Ryan, and Collin. I think that Ryan and Collin live in British Columbia. I have two sisters, Jamie- Lynn and Amanda. I believe that Vincent and Amanda are about 15 to 18 years old. Jamie-Lynn is about 25 years old and Ryan and Collin I'm not too sure about although they are over the of 18 or 19 years. Our mother is Inuit from Northwest Territories.
